On the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia

This year, the theme of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia is “Our Bodies, Our Lives, Our Rights”. LGBTIQ+ people around the world are often denied their human rights, such as legal protection and healthcare. In many countries, consensual same-sex relations are prohibited and LGBTIQ+ people do not have autonomy over their bodies, being forced to medical treatments and ‘conversion therapies’. And let’s not forget the daily prejudice, discrimination and violence experienced by millions of LGBTIQ+ people all over the world.

Everybody must have the right to make their own choices about their bodies and their lives. At TARGETED-MPI, we stand with all LGBTIQ+ people fighting for their rights and for equality.
